Aristotle was a Greek scholar. He is one of the most famous and influential naturalists and philosophers in history.
Although Plato was his teacher, Aristotle either founded or at least influenced many disciplines himself. Among others, science theory, logic, natural philosophy, biology, ethics, physics, state theory and poetry theory. Aristotelism developed from his traditional ideas.

Aristoteles war ein griechischer Gelehrter. Er gehört zu den bekanntesten und einflussreichsten Naturforschern und Philosophen der Geschichte.
Obwohl Plato sein Lehrer war, hat Aristoteles viele Disziplinen entweder selbst begründet oder zumindest maßgeblich beeinflusst. Unter anderem Wissenschaftstheorie, Logik, Naturphilosophie, Biologie, Ethik, Physik, Staatstheorie und Dichtungstheorie. Aus seinem überlieferten Gedankengut entwickelte sich der Aristotelismus.
