Playing Indoors
We have been getting a little rain where I live, which is fairly uncommon. The kids first get excited about the rain, and want to go play in it, but soon, it quickly gets too hard to play and too cold. Then, the kids want to stay and play indoors.
Indoor play can be fun, but it can be monotonous and routine. To keep things fun and interesting for the kids, we break out unique toys or go to indoor play places.
The other day, my wife took the kids (I was at work) to an indoor play place where they have themes to different rooms for the kids to play in. While there, Kendra was having a great time and took a few adorable pictures:
I also used the indoor play time to bring out an old electric race track, which is kinda iffy and smells bad when the cars races… it is a classic toy though!
So that is what we are up to these days as the rain pours down today – staying dry and playing indoors.

Anything that is fun and stimulates the minds is great IMO. When I was a kid I always built things with legos and blocks. Now that I'm an adult I always build things too, it helped me look at alternate ways of doing things a lot.
