That really is its latin name!

These largely solitary bumble bees really love cosmos blossoms, and that's why I really like the cosmos blossoms too! A large group of these flowers, which bloom for most of the summer and fall is a wonderful studio for macro photography!
You'll see a lot of these flowers in the background of my photos.
