Offer services and goods that people can purchase? There's a real need for a marketplace on Steemit. If you had a garage sale, you could sell stuff that you don't need that other people could use. If you gathered enough stuff, buyers would come. Most digital items are already in abundance for free, but if you want to keep everything purely digital, you could recruit some of the musical artists on here, and see if you could become their record label of sorts, and split profits with them, where you're doing the work of marketing and pricing and such, and they're doing the work of creating the music (which you would sell mp3s of for steem)
Also, something I just thought of that might have a few takers, offer to send postcards from different places in the world to people. Might have some people interested. Ask for a little more than postage and the postcard costs, and use the profits to buy more SBI ;) I actually really like this. I hope you don't mind, I'll also suggest it to another group.
Ive been seeing this blog and the account, good and profitable but ill advice you to come up with an upvote for life scheme no matter the amount, the profit margin of your post in a month can be gotten from using just a baddass bidbot, think about it, think of sustainability too.
To start off this is a minnow idea. Upvotes and Resteems are of little help compared to SBD incentives. They work much better and are appreciated even if it be SBD .05.
I suggest you make a list of your subscribers and give an upvote worth SBD .05 to each-may take a week or 2 months. Those who have delegated SP get the first chances but eventually all benefit. The list of the beneficiaries be openly published, and ALL have to compulsorily upvote it for further chances.
My suggestions:
1.) I would not make upvoting mandatory because I feel you'd actually have a negative effect there but I would do something similar to like what Steembasicincome and Qurator do where you can accumulate bonuses or move up in tiers based on how much you upvote and the voting power you have that you can provide to the Kiwibot posts.
2.) I would institute upvoting tiers (again, similar to Qurator or Silvergoldbotty) where the more you delegate, the higher upvote value you can receive.
3.) I'd also suggest implementing a free upvote service for members (again, similar to steembasicincome or Qurator, or even Minnowsupport for that matter) that membership can register for and use on the discord channel.
4.) I'd recommend throwing a little bit of money into a Dustsweeper account for yourself if you don't already for all the comments you make on other people's posts (if any) to help earn a tiny bit more there.
5.) Hold some raffles to generate some steem where the winner gets a two-three times higher upvote than usual, once a day, for a whole month to make people want to contribute or buy in.
6.) Use your KiwiJuce account to start a seperate curation trail associated with Kiwibot / Kiwicommunity or create another account called Kiwicommunity to do this.
7.) Research as many other partnerships that you can with other communities or Upvotes services as you can possibly find.
8.) Make a decent sized investment into Steembasicincome or barter a deal with someone to mutually exchange shares to essentially double up on the number of shares you receive from that investment.
9.) You want to draw an extended crowd, just give away some packs of Steemmonsters... =)
Do more contest like this but make it so upvote and resteem equals a entry and have delegation links at bottom and if they delegate they get more entries. But that’s my way of thinking about it.
