FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE - ATLANTIS The Beginning

Preamble: How old is our civilization? The answer to this question keeps changing over the last 2,000 years and will continue to change as we learn more and more about “our past”. One thing is clear – our “civilization” isn’t the first to have existed on this planet.

Just how many civilizations existed before us? The “oldest” civilization that is widely accepted at this time is the Sumerian which is believed to have existed around 4000 BC. Not everyone agrees though since several other pieces of “history” are not accounted for. The giants mentioned in the bible, the “fluvial” erosion in the body of the Sphinx in Egypt that could not have occurred before 10,000 BC, the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis (6:4) who took earthy women for wives who gave birth to the “giants”, the Anunnakis - believed to have created humans by altering ape’s DNA and ruled over earth for over 400,000 years plus the recent discovery of a 700,000-Year-Old Stone Tools found in the Philippines used to butcher a Rhino.

History as we know it is incomplete and convoluted with mythology. But advances in technology is allowing us to separate history from myths.

Who or what created us and for what purpose? I think this is the ultimate riddle that sentient beings like us should strive to get an answer for. Imagine that you woke up one day with no memory of who you are. Would you not spend the rest of your life finding out who you really are, who your parents were, whether you have a family etc.? In a way, this is what happened to us. We forgot. Or maybe something tricked us to forget our true nature and our rightful place in the universe.

It is clear that "higher knowledge" has been deliberately hidden from us for thousands of years. Therefore, you and me are beholden to uncover and bring this information out to enlighten the world. To end the battle between knowledge and ignorance. To free us from the obstruction caused by established dogmas and lies; for this knowledge could lead us to a greater understanding of our universe and of ourselves.

So much has been written about Atlantis yet we know very little about it. And despite being labeled as myth, the stories persist to this day.

I decided to write this post because I recently came across an intriguing theory about how Atlantis came to be, a topic that is rarely covered in the subject of this legendary civilization.

Despite the various writings about the Atlantean civilization, a large majority of the population still consider the story as a myth rather than a historical fact. But for those who researched the subject well enough, there is ample evidence that this advance civilization really existed in the past. In fact, among the scientists, historians, and archaeologists of today, the debate is no longer on whether or not Atlantis existed but rather its whereabouts.

Plato, a highly respected Greek philosopher and teacher, gives a detailed, nonfiction account of Atlantis in his two Socratic dialogues called Timaeus and Critias, both written about 360 BCE. There have been many expeditions throughout our modern history to locate the elusive islands, foremost among them was the one led by a marine scientist and explorer, Jacques Cousteau. The search ended with Jacques believing it was in the Mediterranean while his son believes Atlantis was probably in the Caribbean or Atlantic. It should be noted though that both of them found what they believed to be evidence of an ancient sunken civilization, although neither had definitive proof that they’d discovered the remains of Atlantis.

Finding a definitive evidence of an island or group of islands that was sunk thousands of years ago is next to impossible. If you think of it, the great Titanic was found only in 1985, 73 years after it sunk. This considering that we know how and where it sunk. Compare that to Atlantis that was destroyed by a calamity so ferocious to sink an entire island let alone the most advanced in terms of technology. If you factor in the date of several thousands of years (Plato placed it some 9,000 years before his time), you get the idea of how difficult it is to look for remnants of that civilization.

How did Atlantis come into Existence?

While several books and articles were written about Atlantis, none of them touch the subject of how Atlantis came to be. Aristotle even believed that Plato, his teacher, had invented the island to teach philosophy.

It’s not until fairly recently that we learned about who were the people that founded the Atlantean civilization – and the Sinaia tablets gave us some clues. Even though these tablets were unearthed in 1875, in a small Romanian village of Sinaia, no one really knew how to read the strange language. There were around 500 tablets found and these tablets bore three types of writings. The first resembles the Greek language. The other two are still undeciphered to this day.

There were many misfortunate events that surrounded these tablets which prevented scholars from studying them. The original tablets were made of gold and when greed prevailed over curiosity, the Romanian King Carol Ier melted the gold tablets after making a replica made of lead. Also, 400+ of the tablets disappeared without any trace and only 34 of them remain in a museum in Bucharest. (Authors Note: This is another case of a religious or private institution confiscating an artifact with tremendous historical and esoteric value away from the public. A historian and an expert in the Greek mythology was studying what remained of these tablets and one of them depicts an event where the Roman army faced the legendary warriors called Dacians in a historic battle.

Upon closer observation however, he noticed that the shields these warriors were carrying contain the ancient symbol of a legendary civilization called Hyperborea.

Below is an ancient map made by cartographer Gerhard Mercator, dated 1554 of Hyperborea. It is placed in the central part located at the North Pole ocean, identity Arctic Ocean.

In the Greek mythology, Hyperborea is the mythical land of the people “beyond the North Wind”. It is mentioned by the Greek historian Herodotus as a continent-bound land from Egyptian legend, bordered by the river Oceanus. Eridanos was the main river that flowed through it, home to white swans and lined with poplar trees that would weep amber. At one point, it had been blessed with eternal spring, resulting in a double harvest of grain per year, with most of the countryside covered in forests called the Garden of Apollo. When it was destroyed by ice, its people were believed to have migrated to lands in the south. According to Greek legend, the land of Hyperborea is a place of total perfection, with sunlight 24 hours a day. The people never suffered from disease or old age, nor did they have to labor or fight in any wars or battles. – Source.

Where and how Gerhard Mercator got the information about Hyperborea escape historians. Interestingly though, another map of an Antartican civilization was found in the Turkish Library in 1929:

According to an ancient text, these lands were not at that time covered in ice.

When the ice begun to cover their continent, the Hyperboreans migrated south where they occupied several places but with 3 main branches (centers). The first center was in Caucasus.

In the West of the Caspian Sea lies the Caucasus, a mountainous region that comprises of southeastern Russia (Northern Caucasus), Armenia, Azerbaijan (including disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region) and Georgia (South Caucasus). - Source

The second branch was in Tibet and the 3rd in the Gulf of Mexico. They called their new capital Asgard (now we know where the land of Thor is) which was located in Caucasus.

The 3rd branch in the Gulf of Mexico was believed to have given birth to the legendary civilization of Atlantis. This narrative is independently supported by Homer’s writings where he claims that the new Borea was situated in Thracia and the new Hyperborea was located in the North of Tracia when the Dacians used to lived.
