[VIDEO] Changelings #39 - The Walled City of Kowloon
I'm inspired by what can best be described as an anarchist city in the heart of Hong Kong, the Walled City of Kowloon. I thought it would make a cool addition to the world of The Tear. It inspires a mixed feeling of awe and otherness. Awe in that it demonstrates what peaceful people are capable of given enough autonomy, and otherness because it is quite literally an alien world. A world that doesn't make sense to the modern, urbanized, systematized, Ikea dwelling person because of its unplanned nature... and because of how dark it was inside.
Apologies for my pronunciation of Kowloon. I got the L and the W switched early in the video and never caught the error and did NOT have time to record this again. Let's hope that in 10,000 years my pronunciation doesn't become canon.
