Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) - YOU AND I
Genre: RockDreamcatcher are currently the dark queens of the K-Pop world. The group was brilliantly re-imaged by Happy Face Entertainment as most of the members actually debuted in 2014 under the group name Minx. Minx's group concept blended in with most of the girl groups concepts debuting at the time, kind of perky, cute, and colorful which made them get lost in the mix (haha Minx...mix...yeah?).
Dreamcatcher re-debuted as a group in the beginning of 2017 with a new name and new members and made everyone go:

This new image with Dreamcatcher was strong and extremely different in the K-Pop scene, among girl and boy groups!
You and I is a continuation of a formula that is working to make these girls stand out in the K-Pop world. I really like their choreography because their movements are meant to be strong as well. All of their releases remind me of what would be really good anime songs.
Personally, what I really want to see for this group is more growth in their concepts because their releases do not stand out from each other. If this Queens of the Dark really working for them, how can they grow in it? Is there another story line that they can follow to increase the depth within their music/performances?
Happy Face Entertainment has been doing a fun thing with these girls by releasing covers on their channel to showcase their talents are not stuck in this one image. So come on Happy Face! Lets see what more you can do with this group of extremely talented women!
