한국사람들이 People란 단어를 다 알고있죠?
근데 저랑 대화할때 가끔 틀리게 사용하더라고요.

틀린게 뭘까요?

People= 복수형
Person= 단수형

하지만,

한국사람들이 얘기할때 가끔 people을 단수로 사용합니다 이런 틀림을 계속 안 했으면 좋겠어요.

예를들면

"I am a kind people"
"He is a mean people"
"My father is strict but overall he is a good people"

이런 틀린 것은 습관으로 만든 것 같아요. 그래서 잘 기억하시죠!

I, you, he, she라는 단어를 사용할때 항상 person을 사용하셔야죠. 그리고 they, we, he and she, you and me라는 단어를 시용할때 people을 사용하셔야됩니다!

대화의 예

A: Have you met my friend Mike?
B: I met him last week at a party.
A: What do you think of him?
B: He is an interesting person.
A: Cool. He was there with his brother, right?
B: Yeah. When they are both together, they are loud and funny. They are funny people
A: They make me laugh too.

오늘의 표현은 간단한 포인트인데 잘못사용하면 원어미들의 눈에는 영어초보자 같은 사람처럼 보여요(말이 좀 심하나요?ㅋ)
