Yesterday's walk around in Krakow, Poland

Fort 31& Krakus Mound.

Yesterday we went to what we thought would be a farmers market, but it was actually just a clothes market not far from where I am staying. After that we decided to go to Krakus Mound and the day was with real nice sunshine!

I had visited here before 2 or 3 weeks back, but I had my parents come visit and we wanted to go see some things around the area and so as it was a great day we walked quite a bit. We thought we were heading to krakus mound, but then turned out that we had gone to a fort instead. At the bottom of the hill was a graveyard for people who had done something great in science and other areas and whose work had helped in making the world a better place.

The graves were very expensive by the looks of them and these family's must have been very well off to have paid for them.

We thought that this was the mound we intended to go to but then we realized it was a fort! Shame that it was all fenced of to stop people going inside..

We weren't far from the mound and just a short walk over a train station got us there..

Not much pollution on the clear and sunny days!

I got a better shot than on my last visit of the quarry were the film Shindlers List was made, it looks a very dark and scary place due to its disgusting history of human lives taken there from children to old people.

After we left we went to get a hot drink *and got lost) and I saw this interesting dwelling which seemed joined onto a house that was empty..

My battery then died on the camera! We went to a food festival which was really cool, lots of different foods and also drinks and strangely enough, Cosmetics also?! It was a great weekend and very nice to see my parents again!
