Opposite sunset

Everyone is accustomed to see sunset clouds in the same place where the sun itself sets. But there are cases when the light falls so that the clouds from the opposite side are dyed to the sunset.
This phenomenon is not common, but I see it and take pictures not for the first time.

On this day, rain came in stripes, interrupted by the sun every 30-40 minutes, sometimes it was all mixed up. Rain and sun – the perfect combination for the appearance of the rainbow. It's what I was waiting for that evening, and it even appeared, but it happened so quickly that while I was rearranging the lens, the rainbow disappeared. But the sky was painted with bright colors just in the opposite direction from the sunset.

Usually there is a dawn above Velikiy Ustyug.

The beach on the Sukhona field has already exposed its sands, it remains to wait for the hot weather.

Sunset extravaganza always lasts not for long.

In just 15 minutes, the clouds will become an ordinary gray-blue color.
