landscapephotography - Wolf Canyon

On Sunday i visited the Wolf Canyon in Lower Austria for some longtime exposure shots with water together with Stefan. It was a pretty nice walk near the creek with several cascades and waterfalls where we did our longtime exposure shots. I really like to freeze the moving water with long exposure times. This is such a nice experimental kind of photography where you can get so many different and interesting pictures.

It's always pretty interesting what kind of nice colors you get with longtime exposure shots, in my opinion the colors get much more intense. But this is also depending on the filter when you expose much longer than i did. But i only closed the aperture of my lens because there was already very few light in the woods. So i didn't need to take a filter to prolong the exposure time long enough to get some nice moving water. I really like the silky appearance the water creates when cought on camera in this condition.

Waterfalls and creeks have something magical to me. It's pretty nice to listen to the sounds the water makes when falling from different hights or just moving along a path of stones. On the older stones you could see the work of the water that has already washed out the stone that now is pretty smooth.

What a beautiful waterfall i like this waterfall.

Thanks, i also like it very much, it is pretty small but still beautiful.

Stunning photos! I'm heading to the Innsbruck area in a few weeks (coming from the US.) Can you suggest any great hiking spots near there? I'd love to stumble across such beautiful waterfalls.
