The American Falls at Niagara Falls, NY
Wide angle shot of the American Falls section of the Niagara Falls. There are different sections to the falls. The ones people are most familiar with are the Horseshoe falls (named for the shape of a horse shoe. These are the American Falls named for the side of the border they are on. In the distance, you can see Canada and the Horseshoe falls.

I grew up about 5 miles from there on Hyde Park Rd, so when I'm visiting I can usually run by there in the mornings.
Right over my house, I can see the mist rising from the falls into the sky. Also, across the street is an empty meadow where the hydro power tunnels are buried. I used to play in that meadow as a kid. It was fun to hide in the tall grass and we could always feel the ground shake under us from water flowing through the tunnels.
