Mt Iliamna volcano seen from a big pulloff
in Alaska when heading to Homer.
It is in between the towns of Ninilchik and
Anchor Point. This is one of four volcanoes
in a row here along Cook Inlet.
Alaska AVO has live cams of most of
our volcanoes and Alert information.

Was a blue Monday today, so many
blue days it's amazing! Love seeing the
blues and greens and those striking zebra
mountains. Hmmm not quite zebra
looking yet. But they are on that resteem
earlier of Denali by @dimitri0610!

That was June 1st 2018, about 13 days ago, looks
about the same, perhaps a little meltage, it has been
warm, we are looking for A/C for the igloo! ;-)

Wow! Amazing photo @shasta! 4 volcanoes in a row? It is a good thing that they have live cams on them.
Zoom in and out on this map, on the Kenai Peninsula
Interactive Volcano Map
There is webcam icons, north of Homer is a cam, click it to
view Iliamna, the other cams are across the Cook inlet
starting with the northernmost volcano, Mt Spurr, then
heading south is Mt Redoubt, then Mt Iliamna, and forth is
Mt Augustine across from Homer.
I see on this map there are two more between, Double glacier
and Hayes those are white triangles, the other volcanoes are
green triangles.
Easier to see if you turn off the photos and seismic stations
Map layers on the right. Zoom way way out and check out
over by Russia north of Japan all them triangles 🔺 lol
