Autumn at Smrk / Podzim na Smrku
During the autumn journey through the Jizera Mountains, I visited the peak of Smrk. I've never been there before and I did not know what to expect. But as the name of the hill said about here will be a spruce. I was surprised that there was not a classical spruce forest as we know it from most of the Czech forests, but there was a very low forest full of interesting shapes of trees. Misty weather gave this forest a special atmosphere.

Při podzimní cestě Jizerskými horami jsem zavítal i na vrchol Smrk. Nikdy předtím jsem tam nebyl a tak jsem nevěděl co čekat. Ale jak název kopce říkal asi zde bude smrkový porost. Byl jsem překvapen, že zde nebyl klasický smrkový les jak ho známe z většiny českých lesů, ale byl zde les velmi nízký a plný zajímavých tvarů stromů. Mlhavé počasí dodávalo tomuto lesu zvláštní atmosféru.
Ve vrcholových partiích vítr nedovoluje růst moc vysoko ;-)
