(En) GRAN SABANA by @ubikalo - Travel
La Gran Sabana is a magical place in Venezuela, it is in the Southern part of this country, huge and amazing. La Gran Sabana is a National Park with a lot of magical places.

In La Gran Sabana we can find numerous falls, rivers, and beautiful landscapes, this part of the world has more than 2 millions years old, and it has inspired writters, filmmakers, travelers and ordinary people like myself to go beyond our beliefs and limits.
This particular place is near the main and only road there, this road connects Puerto Ordaz and Santa Elena de Uairén, a small city in the frontier witn Brazill.
In November 2016 I went to La gran Sabana, my final goal was to walk up to Roraima Tepuy´s summit, a long and wild 6 days walking trip in a cero tech enviroment, just you and nature.
The day before we took a tour to some falls along the main road, we started in Kaomiran until San Francisco de Yuruani, we did it by car, parking in every place with something to see, a river to swim or a fall to enjoy.
The tour lasted about 8 hours in total, and this is just one spot of the many we visit. The river, the sky, the water everything was perfect, just like a painting.
I recommend to travelers to visit this land, it is something magical in deed, it goes beyong a simple tourims spot, this paces touchs our inner fibers as humans.
I really hope we understand how important is to keep our planet and its resources, and I invite you to come and visit this amazing place.
La Gran Sabana is the Tepuys land too, impressive rock formations unique in the world, the most known are Roraima and Auyantepuy, this last one has the largest fall in the world, the Angel Falls.
