Sense of Crisis 危机感

A sense of crisis is vital for us living in this challenging time. The sense of crisis should not lead to tenseness but rather watchfulness.

Whether students or working adults do need to go through examination from time to time as this is a mark of a challenging society. However, technically we can’t control the examination, therefore an appropriate response to the announcement of results is vital.

Taking a group of students as an example, they may have prepared very well for an examination. When the result is released, they are either the winner or have failed to meet up to their own and others’ expectation. Under whatever situation, they do need to move on with a sense of crisis.

If they have won, their sense of crisis is to enable them to further prepare themselves for the new challenge and expectation following a result in favour of them. Imagine we are these students, If any time we have lost that sense of crisis, we may become complacent and unready for the challenge ahead.

If we are the students who have lost to our competitors, we still need to keep our sense of crisis by being watchful rather than feeling defeated. It implies that we neither have come to the end of the world nor the hopeless situation. There is still hope for this group of students to play their renewed role for the challenging future.

我们生活在这个充满挑战的时代必须具备危机感。危机感不应该导致自己紧张，而是要时时儆醒。

无论是学生还是在职的成年人都可能会持续地面对考试，因为这也是一个具有挑战性社会的标志。無論如何，就技术而言，我们不能掌控考试，但是却有必要给于所公布的成绩適切的回应。

以一群学生为例，他们可能已经为考试做好了准备。当成绩公布时，他们可能是赢家，亦有可能没有达到自己或支持者的期望。在这种情况下，他们确实需要以危机感继续面对未来。

如果他们赢了，他们擁有的危机感可以令他们为迎接新的挑战而迈进。想象一下，假如我们是那群学生，一旦我们失去了这种危机感，我们可能会变得自满，没有继续装备自己和有果効的迎向前面挑战。

如果我们是所谓已经败给了竞争对手的学生，我们仍然需要有危机感，而不应该是持续的挫败感。这意味着我们没有走到世界尽头，也不是處在绝望之地。这类学生仍然要迎接未来的挑战，並发挥他们变通的新角色。
