Review of Kopitiam Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock
Nasi Lemak, A distinctly Malaysian food that's has its origin in Malay, Chinese, and Indian Cuisine. Which is the embodiment of Kopitiam Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock, which happens to be a Malay, Indian and Chinese name to show the diversity of the dish.
This "Kopitiam's" (Cafe's) flagship dish is of course its Nasi Lemak, which I paired with a bowl of thick Chicken Curry.
The fragrance of the Nasi (rice) is out of this world, and the curry is unlike any you've tasted, only my grandma's curry can top this, and hers is limited edition. The fried chicken is laden with herbs and spice at the skin but the taste goes deep into the meat. I highly recommend it.
The other thing of note is the recipe, the tables and wall decor brings you back to a time of classic KL. The songs they play are very invoking of the "better times" too.
10/10 would go again.

I'm not sure who the owner is. But whoever they are I want to thank them for creating (possibly sharing their grandma recipe) such a wonderful version of nasi lemak.

I just cannot say no to nasi lemak. Especially early in the morning. I know its not good to eat heavy that early but well, I just say I’ll exercise tomorrow 😂
