City Island Lobster House - Bronx, New York - USA

The City Island Lobster house is a popular seafood restaurant located on City Island in the borough of the Bronx. I stopped for dinner with @michaeljagoe and @sjagoe on my way to the airport. It was a packed house, but luckily we made reservations.
When we first sat at the table we were served a plate of assorted cheese, garlic bread and a couple pieces of blueberry cake. The garlic bread and blueberry cake was delicious and made for a nice little appetizer.
We split a salad with the table which went well with the cheese and bread. It had crisp lettuce and was just enough for the three of us.
We also split an order of Oysters Rockafeller. They were loaded with spinach and cheese, but for some reason they lacked a bit of flavor. Definitely not the best Oysters Rockafeller, but it was still pretty good.
As an entree, I ordered the sauteed Chilean Sea Bass served with a side of steamed broccoli. The Chilean Sea Bass was topped with some peppers for added flavor. It was a bit soggy for my liking, but it tasted good and I could tell that it was a nice, fresh piece of fish.
My mom @sjagoe ordered the Lobster Roll served with a side of waffle fries. Usually they serve it cold, but they made a special order of a hot buttered lobster roll for her. Can't go wrong with a lobster roll at a place called the The Lobster House!
Overall it was an okay meal, but the environment and ambiance of the restaurant was a bit too chaotic for my liking. It was very crowded and loud. But that's what should be expected at a popular City Island seafood restaurant on a Saturday night.
