The Gay agenda is ruining Steemit, America the World!

The Gay agenda is ruining America or so it seems according to a quite vocal and successful grouping of people here on steemit the post originally titled “why is the gay agenda always being thrust down our throats” and now renamed ‘Why is this Gay Agenda now just about Everywhere You Look ?”really brings home the scale of bigotry and hate mongering that is not only supported and rewarded on this platform but has become more than acceptable in the county ( U.S America) that I reside in.

In this post one of the main offences seems to be the growing number of LGBT characters and love scenes on mainstream T.V shows. Reading through the comments it becomes very clear how oddly screwed these peoples views are. One guy claims that over 50 percent of characters on shows are now gay then went on to telling me how gay sex scenes make TV unwatchable as being heterosexual means that one is naturally adverse to having to watch that (yes he said that ) The usual argument that this is all being done to lure people into being gay (Why ?-what a silly question deary >because it is like the flu and so highly contagious that even visual exposure can infect you of course ! ) was brought up, but when I pointed out that no one can turn you into anything you are not, I was assured that they were not afraid of being turned gay. How does this even make sense? Either there is a gay agenda and we are trying to make you gay or there is no such thing and your whole lamenting and tantrum are completely pointless.

As is I do not believe in censorship, I do not even believe that bigoted cake bakers should be forced to bake cakes for us, I did not downvote this post and ask of others not to do it either. these people have a right to openly say what they feel and think . that being said this does not mean that we have to stand by and just take the nonsense. we need to be vocal and address the bigots, we need to take a stand against those who support their hate propaganda and stop supporting them or at least make sure that it is publicly discussed. We need to stop coddling people who smile in our faces but then upvote this shit! They need to know we see their ugly and that we refuse to be subjected to it or remain silent about it. You want to be a bigot go for it but at least have the balls to do it openly and don’t ever approach me again! How dare some of you make nice with me upvote my stuff and then upvote content that wants to deny me basic human rights!

Fact- we of the LGBTQIA community deserve to be here just as much as you do, Fact-you don’t get to piss on my garden and expect me to ever deal with you again (to all of you who I discovered up voting that post and I unfollowed!) and those of you who are not from the LGBT community but support us please speak up against this crap we need your support! these people need to see that they don’t get to dehumanise people like that and be rewarded or at least be supported by the wider community!
