[Knowledge] The Flower of Life Explained - a sacred pattern of the universe

in #life6 years ago (edited)

A symbol, a secret and a sacred treasure. The Flower of Life is a geometric circle pattern that has been revered as sacred or used as a protective symbol in many cultures since ages. The symbolic design of the Flower of Life can be found in Egypt, in Western and Eastern Europe as well as in parts of Asia.

Remarkably in holy temples as well as in folk art. Some archaeological finds, such as the carvings of the symbol in the Egyptian Osirion Temple in Abydos and in some Tibetan monasteries, are over 2000 years old.

Lately, this anciently sacred sign has been experiencing an amazing renaissance. Used today as jewelry and as a tool for chakra harmonization, as well as for space and water energization. For all this, there is a reason. Many people feel the harmonizing effect very quickly. The amazingly positive effect could even be documented with the help of alternative medical measuring instruments.

Master builders of ancient and holy places and as well as many artists such as Leonardo da Vinci dealt with this extraordinary symbol extensively. One of the amazing peculiarities of the Flower of Life is that one can easily construct the so-called Platonic bodies (or also called Platonic solids) with the help of the finished circle figure. Platonic bodies are five bodies that can only be constructed from the same regular surfaces as triangles, squares, and pentagons.

The five bodies are the cube, the triangular pyramid - tetrahedron -, the square double pyramid - octahedron - as well as icosahedron and dodecahedron. These five bodies were considered as very sacred by the Platonic school. Why? They were created from only one form.

In ancient Greece, each body symbolized one of the five elements. In perspective, they are created in a simple way from the pattern of the Flower of Life by connecting different corner points of the circular plexus with each other. This knowledge was used not only to build temples, cathedrals and other well known holy places. The result was amazing - in such a way that these places have a very special energy that we can still be noticed or felt today.

Within the special pattern of this geometric figure, however, many spiritual symbols are encoded. From the Kabbalistic tree of life to the so-called Seal of Solomon and the alchemical symbols for the five elements.

The emergence of the sacred circle figure by superimposing only one circle size is also a parable of creation itself. Thus in spiritual traditions: by dividing or doubling the One - the circle - the pattern of creation unfolds and forms new forms and qualities by superimposing and creating boundaries.

And last but not least, it's the very sensitive but powerful energy of the Flower of Life which can be felt by everyone - no matter if psychic or not, open-minded or not - and which ages ago formed a sacred and also salutary symbol.
