Politics in South Africa would be really funny?, if it wasn't for the Politicians!
Wednesday the 8th was the date for National and local elections
The Fun started with this going around on WhatsApp a week before!
and a few Days later,
This came via the same means.
So Wednesday dawns, I have plenty to do at home, Wayne and I unload a Sports Car Project off a Trailer and shove it ( with flat tyres), under the newly constructed carport.
Strangely enough it started with a light drizzle just after doing this?, at this time of year?
About 1600Hrs , I lift Patricia to Flora Centre, and on the way back go towards Florida Hoer Skool , with cars outside and several little temporary Pagoda's announcing the political parties occupying them!
I join a short queue, and then head for this:-

The interior of the Hall reminded me of the Old Traffic Licence offices , where you had to stand in a queue , in order to find which queue was next !
Eventually I received the 2 Ballot Papers , made my X, deposited them , and was then directed to the back exit ,
where there were arrows showing me where to go:-
And then appears the absolute clincher?, it made my Day!

Oh boy...the ruling party belongs exactly where the arrows lead!
In India politics is very dirty game.

for some, elections are a duty while others (particularly in the USA) can't wait for voting day to arrive.
That last arrow was an example of dark humour, I take it, - hopefully not a true statement of the worth of your vote!
On the plus side, your beater car turns over despite adverse circumstances...perhaps a harbinger of joyful things to come?
This problem what ever you share is a global problem everywhere, but that are in different forms, hope besides you could fix up your sports car without hassle!

Actually its a Puma , Brazilian Design, on a VW Floorpan. Looks a lot like a Dino Ferrari.
Politicians are very good humour when the election come, and after that they are gone their way of life till the next election!
