Finding your Purpose in Life.
Life is a big experiment.Every one of us came to be a part of this experiment called life without our consent and without any say in the matter can be cast out of it at anytime.
The objective of an experiment is to find answers to questions.Everyone of us of sound mind has that one question they want answered and that question is :
What is the purpose of my existence?That is the one question we grapple with all our life.Some are fortunate to find it early in life,some others find the answers later in life while a greater majority die off leaving the question hanging over them unanswered.
Each one of us i believe has been placed on this earth with a definite purpose.That purpose if discovered could be the answer to one of the many problems that humanity sorely needs.
But many of those answers never see the light of day due to several factors one of which is the environment.Planting a seed in the right conditions and in the right soil that is specific to it ensures a bountiful harvest.Like the seed we need to be in the right environment plus the right conditions even though undesirable to us to discover the purpose of our existence.
Some people might find it hard adjusting to their environment or find themselves stuck or trapped in their current jobs,businesses or not experiencing any growth in a specific area of their life but once they change environment,jobs,strategy or their mindset.A version of themselves that was formally hidden is introduced to them and the world benefitting both greatly.
Listed below are some of the ways to find your ultimate purpose
1.Stop overthinking it and just NIKE it.
Fear of the unknown is one of the greatest thief of talents.You might have something that you are particularly passionate about but the only thing stopping you from attempting it is the age old sneaky enemy of Success.
What if i fail ?
Those words are used mostly by those with a defeatist mindset.Say instead
What if i don't ?
2.Who better to reveal your purpose to you than the Creator.
Everything man creates serves a definite purpose.The same way we were created by God each with his/her own purpose.For Jesus Christ his purpose on earth was the salvation of mankind. By working with God and not against him,you will discover the reason for your existence.
3.Tune out all distractions and find the best time that you can be alone with your thought.
As a man thinketh in his heart so is he - James Allen.
You can never find your purpose.If you continue to allow your mind to drift aimlessly on the sea of distractions that constantly bombards us left,right and center.In the midst of all that noise and distractions you might miss that still small voice of inspiration clamoring to be heard.
That's why you need to have a place and time free from distraction.A place where you can hear yourself think.Best time would be when all of humanity is asleep that is in the early hours of the morning and the best place would be a private study with great books as companions.
4.Write your thoughts,ideas and aspirations down.
Having them as a reference point can help you help you navigate yourself to your destination.
5.Know your why.
Most great revolutions in history had one thing that powered the ideal behind the revolution to reality and that is uniting all those who has a stake in it under one common cause - the why.It is also one of the thing that has inspired great inventions.
