Sometimes it is good when you don't know your destination, sometimes it is wonderful to live in the uncertainty where you don't know what future holds for you. Sometimes it is good to keep your chattering mind aside and just go with the flow without worrying about anything at all.

When you don't know your destination journey becomes much more joyful.

My friend called and asked me if I m free to travel somewhere, I didn't not asked much about the plans of travel and ardently agreed.

We were going to Tirthan Valley in himanchal Pradesh, where in Tirthan Valley? We didn't know.

Next evening we took the bus from Delhi for the Aut. We were not sure as to where to go after Aut because we had no hotel booking and nothing. Our bus was full of the tourists as it was 28 December and everyone was going for the hills to celebrate new year. So we were thinking we might not get any hotel Because of the crowd.

Once we reached Aut after 15 hour journey from bus, we talked to the locals and enquired about our travel prospects. We came to know that we could go the great Himalayan national park for which we have to trek from Ghusaini.

So, from there we boarded the bus for Ghusaini and started our trek for the park.

We were not certain about the trek, it was already 1 o clock afternoon and we didn't knew how much distance we would be covering, we asked the locals and they were all giving us different number, 15 km or 7 km, they said. We didn't have any idea about our night stay, but people said that we can find accommodation in the forest guest house, however, later we came to know that we cannot. We hadn't eaten anything except some light snack since last evening but finally we decided to move ahead with our journey.

So we move ahead with the uncertainty in our mind about the distance we have to travel and the place to stay at night.

It is a beautiful trek with the Tirthan river burbling all along the route. Sometimes you see birds which are very exotic in their colour. The Tirthan Valley is home to the snow leopard and Bears, so even a small movement in the trees was making us suspicious.

In between you come across few villages, village people are most hospitable and quite innocent.

Later in the trek we met a group of people who informed us that you could not stay in the forest guest house until you have the permit, which we didn't have. So after trekking nearly 8 km we came to know that we can't even enter the national park. We were disappointed, but not much because it was all spontaneous, we had never planned for the park. What we got was already enough.

So we reached the entry gate of national park, we tried to negotiate with the gaurd for our stay, he agreed but was demanding the kind of money which we didn't have. Because we were already on low budget.

Somehow we found a homestay in nearby village and spend our night there in the amazing hospitality of Pradeep ji.
