I could not pass by and not take pictures of this beauty. This is a rather strange case. I took a picture on July 3rd. For this time this rowan is too ripe. In general, mountain ash grows its ripeness to the first frosts, which means that the berry should begin to blush several months later. Sources on the Internet write that the berry begins its ripening in September. This year, she began to ripen earlier.

Rowan is a super source of food for birds that do not fly away to warm regions in winter. Bullfinches, tits, waxed the main fans to feast on berries of mountain ash in winter.

Ripe fruits of mountain ash are used in a candied state. In my childhood, I remember there were sweets, if they can be called so. It was rowan berries in powdered saury, it was a strange taste, slightly bitter, but, the combination of r? R and sweet was excellent. But, I liked more in this form of cranberries, but not rowan.

Rowan is dried and added to teas and compotes.

Vitamin composition and useful properties of rowan are simply off scale. Rowan is contraindicated only to those people who have high blood clotting and there is a risk of a stroke, or a heart attack.
