Enjoy without complaint
To say we are in a worthwhile relationship be it eros, philia, philautia... or any other type of love relationship, we have to be enjoying the relationship. For us to truly love someone we ought to be able to over look or even accept their flaws and just enjoy the positive side of the person. Too much complaints is a fast way to drive a loved one away. We should be able to show that we love someone by just enjoy without complaint.
This can be better understood when we read what is said in the bible in Philippians 2 verse 14 to 16 which says, ‘Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation". Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain".
This implies for our relationship to become blameless and pure, we should try to avoid grumbling and arguing with our loved once. I pray that God gives me the grace to joy enjoy the gift of loved ones in my life, because we actually did nothing to deserve all the love we receive and so complaining and arguing should not be part of the package.
