NJ Sub Teacher admits to First Graders Santa is not real!
A substitute teacher filling in a New Jersey classroom reportedly informed a group of first graders on Thursday that what they thought they knew about Santa Claus wasn’t true, and St. Nick wasn't real.
The holiday disclosure occurred at Cedar Hill School, Montville schools spokeswoman Susan Marinello told Patch, and reportedly prompted the school’s principal to notify parents via a letter about what had happened.
Good for her! Finally a teacher who doesn't LIE to children! I always thought since the day I found out that it was bullshit to teach kids to believe in Satan Claus! Just tell your kids its like spongebob and he isn't real. Then they grow up knowing some magic elves (is this not racist again elves and short people...) in the north pole arctic make all the stuff the PARENT(S) are working for and paying for.. Everyone is freaking out like lieing to kids is so important!

Children get less upset about Santa being fake than adults get about people saying the earth might be flat. True story

Another good question is why do we do that to children in the first place? What is the psychological impact & who popularized it?
BINGO! See when you lie to a child for almost a decade only to find out you are a liar then they become a teenager who doesn't believe anything you tell them anymore.. HOW is that smart? I would rather grow up knowing the truth and rip the bandaid off than grow up with lies only to go into the world looking stupid!
I think it makes a lot more sense developmentally & psychologically to not lie to kids, it’s super weird & would not be surprised if there were a specific mass social psychological reason for doing it.
I'm not sure if you caught it but I called him "SATAN" clause not SANTA ;) it is a satanic/pagan holiday called saturnalia or festevus which the roman catholic church used to try to convert pagans. The entire holiday has nothing to do with Jesus despite the churches all lieing to their followers! And then you know why I think churches are frauds ;)
I’ve definitely seen the satan claus references before. But I feel like there is a specific psychological reason for the Santa deception, like reinforcing that mysticism is false or not to trust your parents, trust the school system.. something nwo like that

I don't believe in consumer retardation so I avoid all that made up crap. Ever watch car commercials locally? They tell you every month some made up reason that they are running a "sale" and "Hurry in before they are all gone!" yeah lol sure they run out. So far it was New years, Valentines day, Spring savings, Memorial day savings, Summer Sales, Fourth of July Independence sales, Labor Day Last Chances, Fall Savings, Spooky Deals, Thanksgiving Truck Month...
