The pile of snow in the picture is the legacy of previous snow storms. That pile I am sure is bigger now.

Remember two years ago?
the pile in downtown Boston for their removal ended up being there well past winter. Last snow melt happened in July.

it turns out snow can accumulate like that, I still don't know about the phenomenon of snow because in my country there is no snow
