Day 142 Lost Some Weight

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog. I enjoyed it to the extend where I turned it into a year long challenge were I try to find a good balance between health, work and my personal life...

On day 142 I checked my weight for the first time in weeks and to my surprise I was down below 60kg (I'm 172 cm tall). This gives a BMI of 20,2 so I am still within normal weight range. I started 142 days ago with a weight of 68.6kg without having any focus on weight loss. I have stopped eating any kind of potato chips for 39 days now and eliminated eating pure chocolate bars along with testing out not eating peanuts since i have a hunch that might cause some psoriasis issues for me. So a lot of the very high calory foods have fallen away.

Since I'm eating plant based and my body gets what it needs (at least I think so) I don't really experience much hunger and the urge to eat because of feeling bad needing food to cover it up also completely fell away because I'm feeling quite good overall. On days this is not the case, my level of awareness is quite high preventing me from letting myself go in food. The level of control I have in this regard is really insane and I could have never imagined this would be possible some years back when I was a complete slave to all kinds of unhealthy foods.

While I by no means see it as a huge issue, i do know that my calorie intake is likely at a deficit. I did write down a full day of eating a while back showing something around a 1600 calorie intake on the day. To solve this I made some high calory crackers from nuts and seeds. (ingredients, flax, chia, pumpkin, sunflower & sesame seeds. Buckwheat, wakame seaweet, rosemary, fennel seeds and some water.) It does not take long to make and is an excellent replacement for bread.
