Looking unto Jesus- The Light
This is a very crucial and important topic for all, we are going to be reading a few texts from the Bible to help us understand and breakdown the topic laid before us.
The key texts are: John 8:12, Psalm 34: 5, Heb. 12: 1-2.

Firstly, we have to know what light means. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, light is simply something that makes vision possible source
Light has so many advantages and barely any disadvantage, here are some of the quality light has:
- Light strips away darkness: There is no darkness wherever light is, so amazing to think of it that even just a flash from a torchlight can strip away darkness.
- Light is powerful: Light has so much power when it comes in contact with anything or anyone.
- Light Warns: Light warns anyone in its path, for example; when driving at night, if you do not switch on your headlights you won't be able to see what's before you. If there's a power outage and you are walking towards danger, with the help of just a flashlight you can divert from such danger.
- Light shows the way: With the help of light you can see the way to anything and everything.
- Light protects: Light protects everyone.
Jesus is the light of the world, and we can see this in the bible:

We have to follow Him and fix our eyes on Him always because He is the way, the truth and the life. He came to earth to die for our sins and link us directly to God. That link made us children of God, to me I'll say that Jesus Christ was the first born of Christ and He made a way for us the second born. Just like a senior sibling makes way for a junior one to survive, we have to put our trust in Him to protect, warn, show the way, and strip away darkness from our lives because HE is the light of the world.

We have to look up to Him to clear any form of darkness in our lives.
Heb 12:1-2 says

We should run our race fixing our eyes on Him. Life is a race, so therefore, we need to be focused on Him to be able to run through and survive.

When darkness comes in any form, its the word (the Bible) inside you that is been used to repel it. Search through the word of God continuously. - Through the medium of prayer:

You have to sought the Lord in prayers daily, do not leave the four walls of your home daily without putting the day into Gods hand.
