We need to be the light to show the way
While the sun shines, we need to make hay
Whatever we do in life, we will definitely pay
This is why we need to shine the light for others
Let your light shine so bright for people around
Those who shine their lights can’t keep it away
From themselves; so you are doing yourself a favour too
Shine your light to give others a new lease of life
Many people have been used to the wrong ways of things
Your light can bring a better view on how things could be done
Shine your light, shine it so bright that greed will disappear
Let your light shine so bright that hatred would be relegated
Let it shine, let your light shine, so that love can win
We have had enough bloodshed, greed and oppression
Shine your light so others can look within and shine theirs too

If we don't think of ourselves alone, I believe this life will be a better place for all of us. We will be able to wake up in the morning with the thoughts of how we can impact life positively. There are many way in which we can add value to others through what we are doing. Though, we all occupy a position on this life at least if we are missing, people will feel our absence. That is, if what we are doing could bring food on the table for others. We are light for the next generation, if we pave way for them now, it will be be difficult for them to survive.
Most people are focused on themselves. We found ourselves in this position due to the selfishness and greed that we have come to see and joined with in this world.
Just like my friend @steemflow said, we need love. Love is able to solve any kind of problem because when we love another person genuinely, we would do things better and cheating with greed would be eradicated.

The importance of life in the light can be seen more than a blind person who has never seen the light only heard.In fact, the price of light is felt only when it is dark.Exactly similar to human life, when darkness-negative tendencies dominate our lives, then we need the light of development of moral values.
As I read Matthew Arnold's poem On His Blindness, it was said in that A person does not become great by birth or education but becomes great by his good deeds.We should be content with whatever resources God has given us and should always follow the path that is for the good of mankind.If we are not deliberately harming anyone, then we are spreading light in darkness through our good works.

Our good deeds make us great. We can spread our light by our good deeds and only when others see our good deeds can they try to emulate the good deed.
