I cannot wait till we can get some chickens on the homestead. Right now we are having to be in building mode. When we get that part done it will be chickens next. LOL
@basicstoliving We actually built our first chicken coop while we were living in a trailer building our home. We joked that the chickens were living better than we were! 😆
@zekepickleman Thanks! I only got to listen to a few minutes of yours because I had one sick child to tend to and errands to run. Mom-life never stops! So, whereabouts in Canada are you? I'm in N, Idaho- only an hour from the border, so we also have those infamous short summers!

@elsiekjay All animals on the homestead have a job. The cats catch mice, dogs protect us and hens provide eggs & meat. 😀
