Early Mornings In Death Valley

It is essential for us to have a detailed knowledge of the area. To help with this we've been taken on various trips and treks by the guiding school. We take in the flora, fauna, and geology in the Atacama desert as students of the area.

For now it's 8 in the morning and we're sat around in the Explora hotel preparing for the hike, sitting in the bar area of the hotel.

From the balcony we have a view of the iconic Licancabur volcano. This volcano is part of the Andes mountain range and is one of 150 volcanos in this region.
