Yesterday my HD broke so I couldn't access Steemit, but it's working again and I've found a couple more pictures from our group.

We found this spiritual site whilst on our descent. The native people in this area are called the atacameños. These indigenous people leave a gift to mother earth after a long journey travelling on horseback.

This tradition lives on with a modern day twist. The gift offered back to the land now is typically alcohol, coca leaves, or tobacco. This offering is known as Pachamama and it brings good luck for future travels.
