Hello World~

As some of you know from my post here, I'm supposed to only "unbox" Santa's gift in coming August but I guess she can't wait to see the world 3 months earlier!

This happened unexpectedly in the 22nd May around 4:30PM. Wife gave me a call and told me that the "water bag" burst, so I had to rush her to Gleneagles KL. Due to puasa month, traffic started to build up already and I tried my best to "cut-here-cut-there" through the traffic with the hazard lights on. We literally wrote a note to show drivers on road that we were in rush to hospital hoping people who saw it could give way to us.

This was the note. Managed to snap a pic before I threw it away. Anyway, managed to reach hospital at 6PM SHARP! And baby was delivered at 7:29PM! Damn ganjiong experience. Nasib baik x de heart attack! Anyway thank God that hospital got a ready incubator and respirator for our preemie else we had to wait to know which hospital has the ready equipment. Everything went smooth! Wife can be discharged the next day!

As most of you know a little here and there from @iamjadeline's post here, my baby daughter stayed 4 days in Gleneagles right after delivery. She needs to be incubated and need the help of respirator to aid her in breathing.

Knowing that the cost for NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) in Gleneagles is too expensive (roughly RM2k/day if stay until full term), I was already looking into transferring my lil' baby girl here to the government hospital. So yea, managed to get a slot in Hospital KL on the 25th and the total discharge bill for her is RM23k-ish... just for 4 days!

I want to thank Steemians here especially those from #teammalaysia for the funds raised for the bill! I must introduce all of you to my baby girl when the time comes!

Before that let me introduce my 2nd daughter here! We only have her name confirmed on the 31st May. Too many things to look into throughout the week until no time to look into her name.

Thanks to @happycrazycon for the name also. She was the one that gave the '希'. We had few names in mind previously and yea we decided to name her "Grace & Hope".

Update as of today, she is now on the least breathing support, meaning to say her lungs are quite strong to breathe. Looking forward to not relying on breathing support of course! She is on feed like usual babies just that the consumption is very little. She is drinking 20ml of milk every 3 hours and doctor will increase the volume gradually depending on her growth as well. So far, whenever we have the chance to feed her, we will. Doctor told us this morning that we can prepare for the 'kangaroo care' in these few days time. If you don't know what 'kangaroo care' is, go google for images then you will know. I have no image to show you at the moment :P.

This is the brief update that I can give so far about what happened the past 2 weeks. I have to come back here more often to update some other stuffs. Signing off first!
