I've been sharing my startup progress here on Steemit over the past few months. And so far, so good. Sure, there are a lot of challenges and unpaid hard work along the way, and I'm sure you've read all my rants about it. I still feel grateful that I'm able to achieve each goal and make some progress. And there's no turning back now. Onwards and upwards!

Aside from the STEEM that I earn that somehow helps me get my business off the ground, the community has been such a great help too in terms of moral support. I really appreciate all the encouragement because I am pretty much on my own - and isolated! In real life, I usually get doubt and negativity from others. I'm staying in front of my computer.

If you don't have a lot of resources to start your own venture, then you are on your own. You need patience in everything, not to mention tears and sleepless nights. And day to day rants about losing your sanity. You really have to take it - slowly but surely. Enjoy the pyscho journey. The next thing you know, you are making some progress faster than you can imagine. It is not get-rich-quick okay. If you don't have a lot of money to invest straight away, serious hard work and sacrifice are required.

If you are not 'time poor' like me, or you don't really have a full-time job, then all you need is unwavering persistence to make this work. Sorry but, there's really no other way. And it's not easy! You need to be frugal. I'm used to it due to my travel lifestyle and borderline poverty. Oh and you need some guts too! I'm all-in - no regrets because I really trust what I can do and what I can offer. To have the confidence to set a higher price in the market, you have to specialize. You have to be the expert in what you do.

I think everything really depends on how badly you want something or how badly you want to make a change in your life and those around you. Sounds pretty LOA sure, just don't overdose on that positivity drug. Be realistic too. Rant about your challenges until you come up with practical solutions. It works for me!

Starting your own business can be both exciting and overwhelming. You have an idea but it's quite confusing as to where to really start. This whole entrepreneurial journey actually turned me into a list-freak. I have no choice, otherwise, I will drown in the endless tasks before I can break open the champagne bottle. I am also quite forgetful - old age, ha! It is important to take small but actionable steps toward your big goals.

Now let's see the important milestones that I've achieved as an entrepreneur by looking at each Steemit post:

June 19, 2017 - Invest in Long-Term Travel and Find Out Your Purpose in Life

Armed with nothing but my own vision. Yes, it all started here! I just came back from a very long journey. My first post on Steemit earned a whopping $276.31+-. Oh, good times!

Sept 2, 2017 - Journey to My Travel & Tours Startup - New Beginnings and Crowdfunding!

This was the first post about my startup. I've shared here what the business is all about. I started working on my travel agency website content. I still didn't have the actual website yet!

Sept 18, 2017 - A Travel Startup's Logo Dilemma

Here I was sweating the small stuff. Anyway, I've finally come up with a minimalist logo. I asked some freelance guy to design it, and it was cheap. I'll change it later on because I gotta move on!

Nov 5, 2017 - How Can I Still Live Off Steemit?

Another rant about living off Steemit while working on my project. Pity party eeeow! Don't read.

Nov 10, 2017 - 'Go Explore' Wordpress Travel Theme Review

This was my happiest day as I finally bought a premium WordPress travel theme that I really liked. I regret it at some point because damn, the theme is complicated for me. Even the php Indian dudes who customized the theme found it challenging. Most of them were doing a half-assed job - cheap you know. I forced myself to learn more about CSS and HTML so I don't have to depend on anyone or pay more. Things have become easier later on. Big milestone!

Dec 21, 2017 - To Buy or Not to Buy a Proper Camera

I was reflecting on buying a proper camera but good thing that I didn't buy, still unnecessary! And someone here from the dive shop even lost my action camera, so annoying! He can't even pay me until now! I was about to spend the holidays alone...sob. No holidays actually, that's the reality!

Dec 31, 2017 - New Year's Resolution, Life Goals or Time to Get Off the Couch Plan

Some people don't really stick to their new year's resolution or try to achieve the goals they've set. Sure, I didn't achieve everything due to some things I failed to research about. So I won't be able to get my tour license this year because I have to be a resident of this town for at least a year - it makes sense! I've moved to this part of the island. I've launched my website this year, and before my target month, so hurray! I'm not able to go to the swimming pool, but there's the beach. But I still can't swim regularly due to lack of free time. Anyway, I have my bicycle as my transportation. I'm not fat and it's probably due to stress. Hurray somewhat. No 'man behind the rock' yet, no free time for that emotionally-taxing stuff! Uggh.

Jan 28, 2018 - Thank You Steemit for Helping Me Start My Life Over and Bootstrap my Startup

Gratitude post! See, I'm not ranting all the time. I was very happy that Steemit continued to fund my startup. But here, I got evicted from my previous apartment. It was so stressful. It was so hard to focus on my project when I didn't have a home! Then I found a better apartment. Things just got better of course. I'm so grateful that I have a refrigerator, desk and fast internet connection. Little things you know!

May 2, 2018 - WIIFM – What’s in it For Me?

I started sharing some content for my website for proofreading! Steemit was such a big help, special thanks to @cupidzero. Big thanks to those who've sent me STEEM too. And the big whale upvotes. You know who you guys are!

July 10, 2018 - Terms & Conditions (Startup Update)

I've shared the first draft of my T&C.

July 19, 2018 - Tour Participant Agreement Part 2: Liability (Startup Update)

Now I have a longer one, ha! My website now makes me look larger than life. It's for the type of clients I want to attract! The businesses here in town, even the big hotels, told me that I have a nice website that really looks professional and international. That's a really good compliment I think.

July 21, 2018 - 2 Things that 'I Need' for My Startup and Why Steemit Should Support my Endeavors

I was pondering about the things that will make my life easier as an entrepreneur. I need to ugrade to a scooter as I need a faster mode of transportation. I just cannot afford it at the moment. I also need a nicer camera but I realized that a DSLR is not such a need, yet. Anyway, I realize that big images slow down my site.

July 31, 2018 - All In (Trigger Warning)

Yet another rant about the realities in this world! Here I was, taking care of the business papers. It was really stressful as I had to pay a lot of money to get through the red tape. 'Let's see how it goes.'

Aug 13, 2018 - Am I Officially the Founder?

Woohoo I finally got the business permit! 100% under my name. I've finally launched my website too! Big milestone!

Aug 15, 2018 - Learning Some SEO Strategy ('Yoast SEO' review)

I am now focused on the digital marketing stuff. Yet another challenging part of the entrepreneurial journey.

Sept 4, 2018 - The Journey Doesn't End Here

Sure! More rants and progress updates on the way!

Why don't you give me a big hug for being such a @diabolika? 😈😎

Congratulations! How long until you can accept your first paying customers? (Big rush point for start-ups)

Now accepting first paying customers! I hope to guide a group next week...I hope they will book.

Oh! That's huge. Let's hope they book.

I will surely post it, it's another milestone.

Always inspiring to see someone living out their dreams, congratulations on your journey!

Woah, congratulations. Ive been so busy with so much unexpected crap these last few months but I will try to keep up to date with what’s going on. I mean rooting for you!

Awww thanks! I appreciate the support!

Big hug to you @diabolika!

Haha I like the use of a selfie stick.

"Sounds pretty LOA sure"

Your post about that actually gave me the idea for the post I just wrote. I gave you a shout out in it too.

"It is important to take small but actionable steps toward your big goals."

I really agree with that. If you look t everything that you have to do it seems like too much but if you go little by little, it seems easier even though it is the same amount of work.

You seem to have a good plan (not that I know much about running a business lol) and you seem to have a good attitude. Together, I think those things will help things to work out for you.

Okaaay I was actually having second thoughts about posting the image with selfie stick. I know I will be mocked about that haha.

I will check that post in a bit!

you seem to have a good attitude.

It seems lol. I appreciate that you think I have a 'good attitude' hahaha.

Haha You aren't afraid to express your frustration but I think that is actually a good think (even if some people call it complaining lol). I think shows that you care about things that you talk about and caring is more important than just thinking happy positive thoughts.

Then again, I am a total pessimistic misanthrope so my view might be skewed lol.

If I am being myself by complaining, then I think nobody can change that. Especially not by some random commenters/strangers from time to time coming to your post and asking you to be another person. I think this is what makes people feel repressed out there, they want to stay agreeable to others or maintain a good impression.

I'm just feeling positive atm, tomorrow, who knows lol.

Haha I have those days too. I felt like that this morning speaking of. I crawled back into bed as soon as I could to try to sleep it off a little. Idk if it worked but I am less sleepy lol.

Congrats, great to see your progress!
