Never Make Promises You Cannot Keep

Some people finds it very easy to make promises to everyone around them, but they hardly get to keep it because, to them it was just mere words.
Other people get to say yes to every request so as to please the people around them. But on the long run, when they don't fulfill that promise made, they hurt the people around them the more.
Some people don't want to be seen as scary people all because we are too direct with our words and actions, thus making promises that they can't fulfill. It is better to say what you mean and mean what you say.
For example, I have a brother that always says No to what he knows he can't fulfill, this makes people scared of him because they fill that he hurts their feeling by not accepting their request.
Never make a promise you can't fulfill until you are sure that you can fulfill it.
