Cider Creek, a Penny Floor, and My Bro's Awesome New Song- Stepping Stones!

My family enjoys nothing more than trying out new breweries/wineries/distilleries/ and the newest among these, so new in fact that the word isn't even recognized as a word- cideries, and upstate NY, particularly the Finger Lakes region has the largest selection of these on the East Coast with new ones popping up every few months it seems.

On this occasion we drove into Hammondsport to check out the highly recommended cider from Cider Creek.

I nearly changed my mind about cider when I saw this sign,

and this set up-

because Bacon ;)

But in the end

Cran-Mango...sold!

This little nook had the most unique floor I've seen in awhile-

pennies! It appeals to the part of me that likes shiny stuff :)

And it was a great little spot for our tasting.

Hahaaa, love the crazy eyes bro! And that cran-mango, yum!

But the Queen of Tarts definitely causes the 'sour' face as Mary demonstrates,

meanwhile Mama Dreemit gets a shoulder rub from 'baby' Dreemit

as she waits for her bourbon rootbeer float- which was delicious, though I was quite happy with the cran-mango cider sangria myself ;)

And what would a day out be without being serenaded by a random trumpet guy freezing his arse off in the park?

And last but definitely not least, my brother's awesome new song Stepping Stones, which he wrote for both his baby girl and mine, enjoy!
