5 Easy steps to become miserable

There are so many articles on the web, in magazines, everywhere, on how to be happy. The so called "guidelines to happiness". The ones that satisfy the part of you that struggles to get there (happiness) while reading them but after a while you are again the same person you were some paragraphs before.

Since I find those easy steps to happiness just crap, in today's post I decided to write about the exact opposite. How to become miserable. Misery is something anyone can achieve if they set their mind to it. You can be miserable any time, anywhere. Misery is a choice and I can show you some simple ways to get there. And yes your life can be shitty enough if you let it.. So I have put together 5 important points to becoming a miserable person.

Focus on what sucks, no matter what

The most awesome thing about being human and living in such a complicated and harsh world is that no matter what happens, the easiest thing is to find something shitty about it. So go find that little something and stick stubbornly to it. That is one of the major things you can do to become miserable. Yippee!

Feel like you are always a victim

In the dark and unfair side of life, being the one and only, the eternal victim is a very important component to keep yourself miserable. Persuade yourself that it is never your fault and that there is nothing you can do about it. Every perceived wrong is an injustice and you are powerless to fix it.

Please everyone

Yes. Everyone. It doesn't matter if everyone wants something different from you. I'm sure you will make it. Leave your priorities behind and make everyone's favour. Behave the way they want, be available for them whenever they want, work where they want, talk when they want and the way they want, just do whatever will please them. You just don't matter.

Play the "what if" game

The best game to make you unhappy. Especially before going to sleep it can make wonders -staying awake all night is a bonus. Analyse all those unlikely-to-happen scenarios that lead to catastrophe most of the times and you're a successfully miserable person.

Wait for the perfect moment

You will love this. You don't have to do anything at all till the right time comes. Don't get out of your comfort zone, don't deal with any problems, don't face your fears, don't do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable, just lean back and let the time pass by. Maybe in the next life you will be able to do all these...

Well i think we are all become miserable from time to time, but we recover:) Sometimes it takes a change of place or a friend to tell how miserable you are or at the end you discover it yourself. For me the article was describing so accurately all my miserable times and i think my all time favourite is "the perfect moment" Lol

That's true... Ups and downs are all part of the game.. lol "the perfect moment" many times happens to be everyone's favourite.. And sometimes it's ok, if it doesn't last long.. :)
