Healthy Eating Habit

Avoid over eating and taking too much alcoholic drinks. Eating too much is harmful to the body's metabolism. In Feb 5, 2010 issue of "cell", researchers at Harvard School of Public Health reported that overeating may destroy your body's regular metabolic response.

Hence Benjamin Franklin said,

"One should eat to live, not live eat. "

People who over eat run the risk of developing health disorders such as diabetes and obesity. Taking too much of alcholic beverages on the other hand gradually destroys the kidneys and liver of the drunkard, apart from making him or her a menance to the society.

That was why Seneca declared that,

"Drunkeness is nothing else but a voluntary madness."

We are advised to eat moderately and to abstain from too much alcohol intake. Habits are not formed in a day but through series of acts. As teenagers and youths, we are to prevent the habit overeating and drunkeness by personal discipline.
