One of the childhood reminiscences that i have is that of a "planting" adventure. A christening service had just been concluded and a number of visitors who came for that ceremony had given me some money - coins actually.

A mischievous relative suggested that i plant the money so that it could grow and i would have harvest lots of it, funny as it seems i complied and the relative took me to the back of the house, dug a hole and made me plant the money. No tree grew, no fruits were harvest!. This story continues to amuse me even though it is several decades since it happened.

The rich quick mania is an international phenomenon leading men and women to commit unquantifiable atrocities. You cannot but imagine what people would do for the search of money, very immoral and saddening things. People worry themselves to death on how to make money, anyway, anyhow. As they say, any which way na way, some which isn't honorable or morally justified.

Some all in the name of wealth and huge returns do treacherous things and in the end get worse than they bargain for.

Inordinate ambition, or anxiety to get wealth at any cost land will many in some moral leprosarium, sickness and even death someday.

The end does not justify the means

Everyone loves money, yeah quite alright but that should be a reason to destroy the future. The time to apply the brake is now. The love of money is damaging.
