Finally...
Every summer we spend some time by the river swimming, playing, or just resting. But this summer was different. We didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the calmness of the river because of the moody weather we had.
In May there was sunny but too cold, in June we barely managed to spend some time preparing the hey for the animals before the rain came. With rainy July we almost thought, that this year we won't be able to repeat the annual ritual. But finally, we awaited the warm summer in August, and yesterday we finally did it.
We drove for a couple of miles, and there we were. All alone. Just me, my partner, the girls, and a niece. In the middle of pristine nature, surrounded by beautiful, and not so beautiful things.
But still, we enjoyed every single minute together.
The world is beautiful, but the little Slovenia we are living in has so much to offer if you just open your eyes.

Our weather has changed the recently and after many days of hitting the beach every day the last few have been grey with intermittent rain and sun.
I hope you summer continues nicely now. 😊
We did yes. And it was worth waiting. And about the weather... So funny. After we did everything we planned and spent an afternoon by the river the rain came around. So we had both - the rain, and sun like you did. 😉 Hopefully, the weather by the sea will be nicer.
I believe there is no better way to spend time than with water!

Thank you. It was clear, and even though a bit cold we still enjoyed it. Although it is obvious the fall is coming, and there was already a few leaves on the water.
