From land to the sea
Driving under such a majestic construction makes me realize how tiny are we. How much time things needed to be built before all those heavy duty machines, and unlimited supplies of building materials.
Viaduct which is seen in the photo in one of the 65 bridges on the "Bohinj Railway", which is only a small part of the railway link between Trieste (Italy), through Gorica & Jesenice (Slovenia) to the Prague (Czech Republic).
I read on Wikipedia, that it was built between 1900 and 1906 as a link between Central Europe and the Adriatic Sea. 14,897 workers participated in the construction of numerous facilities, tunnels, galleries, and bridges.
On the track, steam locomotives were driven from the beginning, which was abolished in 1974. Nevertheless, the track has not been electrified to this day.
But enough history, strange working week, which ended with the new moon, and just let's go to bed.

Thank you.
Nice photography thanks for sharing with us
And thank you for coming around.
I love the colourful train @emmamia and the empty roads. Great photographs! 😊
Thanks. It was the Sunday after the storm when we went by, and apparently, all tourists and locals were scared away, so I could make a decent photo. :) Hihi...
That was a stoke of luck then @emmamia. Especially as it looks like a beautiful day when you were there! 😊
Ye,s the sky after the storm was amazing. Although, when we arrived home there was still some raindrops falling from the sky.
It's Friday 13th too.
Oh, it was. :) So that explains all. :)
