Travel Day Stink Eye
Our beagle, Amstel, knows whenever we get out the suitcase that a trip is coming up. When we begin packing he gets really nervous.
As we were preparing to leave for the airport this morning he gave us a very well-practiced stink eye! Somehow he seemed to know he wasn’t joining us this time.
We always miss him when we’re away but, thankfully, our son is a great dog sitter.

Oooh, yeah... I know that look. Our critters are pretty smart. Our dog gives us the dirty look, too... and one of our cats actually takes up residence in one of the bags we're using, and will stay in it or on top of it till we actually walk out the door.
That's hilarious. Amstel doesn't go that far but will refuse to look at us for a few days after we get back.
He looks kind-of exited. I had a cat that used to sit right inside of the suitcase and refused to get out even if I would try to close it
That look says it all, really. He has been used to having you around and used to you obviously, he would give anything to join you on that trip hahaha.
I was just about to ask who would take care of him while you are gone, until i see the last part. I am sure your son would get him all bubbly and cheerful soon. Amstel is really smart i must say.
We wish we could bring him but he's just a little to big to ride in the passenger cabin of the plane. He really likes our son, we're lucky that way. Thanks for the comment!

I've always wondered, what will haunt the minds of the animals when they see us start packing our bags? Surely they will perceive something and feel something sad, dogs can be very intelligent. And as they are very tender and faithful creatures, they will not support this idea!
We've been traveling so much lately that he knows what happens when the suitcase comes out.

Really it's looking dog is very upset. Now suitcase is very boring to him because he has experience to before that if your suitcase is getting ready so it's time for tour without him and it will be very boring, he will miss your love, care etc . He can't say anything but his expressions can say what is he feeling also he can feel your happy, sad, pain so don't be late come back soon.
Amstel is very good dog and he is a part of your family so he feel sad .
