Coming home at night and browsing Steemit. Offering food means something.
I just got home from the cinema.
I love cinema if you didn’t know yet.
I got an unlimited pass. For $19 a month I can go as often as I want. I love it. It’s a great deal.
The big difference for me when watching a film in the cinema compared to home is that it takes you away for a while.
No phone, no interruptions, and no distractions. Just me and the movie. A big screen and good sound.
After the film, I got home and sat behind my computer.
At night I like to browse Steemit. Check what others have written and reply to the people that have taken the time to leave a reply to my posts.
I also watched a vlog by Nanzoscoop here. He went to a Dash conference today in London. Dash is major atm. Above $300 and I’m interested how the conference was.
The video is great but what struck me the most is that he didn’t get any real food there. Even though the ticket was 100 pounds.
Which in my mind is something that’s awful. Especially for a conference by a successful coin.
No food is something that Bianca ‘fears’ about me by the way.
I slowly change as a person when I become hungry she says. Not violent or anything, but grumpy(ish).
I know this too. (so do my friends and colleagues)
I just can’t think sharp after a while. I don’t why it affects me so much.
There have been a couple occasions wherein a slight panic Bianca just sat me down and b(r)ought me any old food just to slow the process.
When Steemfest 1 happened I don’t think STEEM was considered successful. Not when it came to the price. It must have been around 10-20 cents or so.
But at least there was great food and drinks. All included in the ticket price.
I remember a perfect lunch and an awesome 3-course meal as a final dinner.
For me, that's worth something. It's about the way you treat your guests.
It's also that event that made me STEEM and the STEEM blockchain very real for me.
Steemfest 2 is around the corner now.
I'm looking forward to it a lot.
I can't wait to meet all the nice people, listening to the latest news and of course enjoying all the food and drinks that will be there.

That is amazing! I wish I could buy a similar ticket at the cinema, it is very expensive to watch a movie here in Norway.
Are you going to watch the new horro movie. I think it is called IT. It has a clown in it.

It's a great card! As soon as I get the chance I'll watch it. I heard it's a pretty good remake.
Couldn't agree more about the cinema. It just lets your mind relax and takes you away on a mini get away for awhile. They allow your creativity to come alive and run wild, allowing our dreams to take hold. I think that's what makes movies so great. I'm not a television person at all outside of mostly sports and some history, but I do love a good movie and the way it makes you feel. It's a special feeling.
I know what you're talking about with food too. I have a bad habit of not eating while working and my wife is always constantly reminding me to take a couple of minutes and get something down.

Grumpish? You always throw a tantrum, man! Everytime you are hungry mad I hear in my mind a siren, it's like "get this man food, get this man food!". Probably only me and @clio knows what to do with you in this kind of moments.
You are right Bianca, it's best to give him some food when he is hungry.
" Mum, do you have something to eat", he often says when he comes to our house.
There always is of course, because we also like good food.
An empty stomach irritates me too.... the way to keep a guy happy is to put food in his belly :)

I would think that they would at least have drinks and snacks, they do not cost that much. Water, fruit drinks some fruit, etc... Their market cap is 2.5 BILLION...jeez.
Mark Hungry, Mark Grumpy. I always make sure there is some food in my fridge for when you come over to visit. You are such a nice and friendly person but when your stomach takes over...Man, I actually have been thinking about making an indoor panic room...

For $19 we get to go to one show!! If I could get a pass like that, I would go to the movies all the time as well - my husband might not come home anymore. He loves movies.
No food at an event like that is awful. But I am into food. The organizers must be people who eat to live, not eat to enjoy food (and of course to live :)
From what I have noticed through a not scientific research - just by living with men, sons and husband - the "I am grumpy when hungry" syndrome is common. Actually, my mother in law used to cook dinner in the morning so no matter what time my father in law came home, she put food in front of him within minutes.

nice post @exyle, it's nice to hear that you are also go to cinema to watch the movie and that's great routine and 19$ is awesome deal and you can go as often, i think watching movie in cinema gives a real relaxing effect to the mind and it's also a great routine to build up a good concentration level, enjoyment is a real part of life and watching movie in cinema is a part of it. no doubt dash is a successful coin and lack of food in their conference is sounds strange, i hope we see good and delicious food in steemfest2, have a very happy week ahead my friend, thanks for sharing
