So Whose Right of Way Would That Be Then?

Just utter madness is what it is.

So, I took this photo earlier on (please forgive the fallen roof tile just below) of these two cars. They've been stuck like this for the last half an hour and both refusing to give way to each other. I wasn't able to capture one of the drivers actually reading the newspaper whilst waiting for the other to back down. This is crazy! I've was watching this abhorrent spectacle for around fifteen minutes until a much larger queue started forming behind the car on the right, thus forcing the driver to yield.

I mean, what is this world coming to! You should have heard the swears being exchanged at intermittent intervals between them. And all this would have simply been avoided had one just swallowed their pride and reversed to allow room for the other to pass. But, I'm telling you, living in London for all these years has showed examples showcasing the absolutely worst in human nature. The hatred our fellow person can have for another of the same species. It's nothing short of deplorable.

Now whilst I was a reckless tearaway in my youth, never once did I push unprovoked aggression toward someone else. Something I now classify as a minor achievement, in some respects. But the downright ferocious behaviour exhibited out on the road from some individuals. It makes the political debates on Steemit seem like a damn walk in the park!

so no fighting?? like actual fighting???

I think the car on the right should have just gold on a little bit for the one on the left to pass through, but what do I know.

Such a thing happens everytime here in my country and it's just fun watching the scene. Hahaha

Lol, yeah! Gotta admit, it was a tad entertaining too. :)

Hahahaha Pride and bottled up anger from life stresses usually plays a role in these kinds of situations. Its not who has the right of way, but who amongst the duo can swallow up the pride and move back for the other to pass. If they both could stay there for 30mins, its obvious they were not in a hurry to their destinations. These type and more ugly situations play out everyday in my country

Pure madness, right? Honestly, "determined rage" like that does disturb me somewhat, lol.

If you think this is bad try living in my city, everyone drives like they are taking someone to the hospital, trying to cut into lines, using the lanes that don't exist, everyone trying to cut everyone and on top of that if you don't let them do an absolutely illegal maneuver they not only honk at you but I had one time when I guy stepped out of his vehicle looking for a fight. So, I certainly know where you are coming from.

Thanks for posting this, I wish that people just relaxed at the wheel, we all have to go somewhere, we all want to get there as fast as we can, just have a little empathy.

Damn, man! That does sound even worse! And I share your sentiments. Everyone acting like this just needs to take a chill pill and calm down...

The arrogant human is being shown, I think the brains of one of them are overwhelmed with life's problems😝, to understand it is a wise attitude.

Lol, so true. Sometimes the "animal" sleeping within us all, takes over. :)

It looks very likely that Red had the right of way. If someone is driving through the middle between parked cars (both sides, space only for one), you should wait for them to pass before going in yourself.

It's possible Grey hatchback entered first but I'm assuming Red did due to being further in.

I have a dashcam on my car. Whatever happens, I'll have video evidence. I wonder if you had that in a circumstance like this, you could stand your ground briefly, if they bully you, back down then take them to court with video evidence later.

Nice move with the dashcam, bro! It'll come in real handy when on the London streets. And yes, being further in as you say, I think that car is at fault too. But honestly, the fact that neither car wanted to back down, was plain ridiculous. Some people just got too much time on their hands...

Hey, @ezzy Really great work my dear friend and I am glad to seen your daily post .many many thanks for sharing with us your important post.

Just by the photo it's the maroon colour sports car but then I would rather not jump to conclusion. If I be the judge, I'll went a 20 second video. before they end up like this. Could be that sports car still try to rush in when the other guy was already along the way.

I think the guy not reading the newspaper is the one that should pull forward, wait for bumpers to touch, then he should wait there until the newspaper reader either backs up, or goes back to reading his paper. As soon as he picks that paper up, the other guy needs to pedal to the metal and shove the newspaper reader out of the way, because he is obviously already brain dead because he is actually reading a newspaper that most likely is full of lies, innuendos and made up stories. Now the other guy that pushed his vehicle out of the way, has a few smarts.

While this is indeed complete madness of the extremes people will go its also funny but yes also sad to how low some go these days to protect their so called integrity or rights.. @ezzy
