All Things Have Become New

It's another great day in our lives, and as believers the very thing we can do is to tell God how grateful we are for all the good things He has and still keep doing in our lives. God we say Thank You for your protection and the grace you keep showering in our lives each day.

Today is the 2nd Sunday of the month of May, and on this day the whole world are in one accord to tell all mothers and potential mothers, how grateful we are to have them with us. In short, today is Mother's Day so if you haven't said anything to your mum, just call her and say Mum am grateful for bringing me to this world😁.

Well our theme for meditation this great day is;

All Things Have Become New

1 Peter 1:3

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

In the beginning after God had finished creation, He gave mankind the power and authority over all the things He has created and told man that He can eat all the things except the very fruit in the middle of the Garden that He placed him.

Mankind disobeyed, and brought death to himself. God then sacked mankind from the Garden of Eden to wonder on earth. Mankind then realized he has committed a great sin then went back to God for forgiveness.

Even though God, forgave man but never allowed Him in the Garden again. Centuries passed, then man was still living in sin, so God sent his only begotten son (Jesus Christ) to come and save the world.

When the son of man (Jesus Christ) came, he made us aware that if anyone leaves sin and accept God as his Lord and personal saviour then that person have become a new creation. Meaning all the person's sins are forgiven and forgotten.

When we become new creation, we become renewed with God and have power over sickness, poverty and failures in our lives. No evil or demon have power over us again, but they rather flee when they see us coming.

In Genesis when God wanted to bless Abraham, he told Abraham that as far as his ( Abraham) eyes can SEE He ( God) had given him. As true believers, the level of life we enjoy is directly related to what you behold (see).

We know the texts in the bible, are referred to as scriptures, from which you can get script. When an actor or actress is given a script, it is his or her duty to act as the script says. If the script says he is rich, he acts so and when he is been asked to act as poor then he acts so.

So as true believers, we must always know we are new creations and that old things have passed away. We must let go of all the wrong past and live the new life with what God wants us to do. We are no more failures but success.

May the Good God guide us and protect us in all we do, and may he strengthen us to do as He wants us to do. Let me end by say a Happy Mothers Day to all mothers and potential mothers in the world. Thank you.
