Testifying To Glorify God

Many will tremble in our presence, thousands will fall to our left and ten thousand to our right. Any plans they have against us will never work out because we serve and believe in the living God.

Today is the first Sunday of April and soon we shall be celebrating the crucifixion of the son of man (Jesus Christ). As we prepare towards that let's not forget what he came to sacrifice for us to have eternal life.

On this day, our theme of reflection is;

Testifying To Glorify God

John 15:26-27

“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of Truth, who comes from the Father—he will testify on my behalf. You will testify also, because you have been with me from the beginning.

When we get attack by a sickness, What do we do?
I know your answer will not be different than my, which is : We visit the hospital or any health institution for a doctor to examine us. After examination, he prescribes drugs for us. We then get these drugs and start to take them, simply because we want the sickness to leave our system. Finally when we are healed and back to our active self again, we move around telling how the prescriptions of the Doctor has made us strong again.

Let's look at this scenario too, when someone help us in life to achieve something, we move around thanking them for what they did for us.

This is the very thing, God expects us to do as Christians when he does something for us. We are not to only keep his thanks but we have to testify as well.
Some Christians fail to testify because they think if they testify, they will or might be attacked by the devil. They feel their problems will double up when they testify.

Am here to tell you today, that is not true!...! You sharing a testimony of the great things God has done in your life, will not make you be enemies to many or increase your problems. May be you saying "It happened to me". Is to strengthen someone who is at the verge of giving up on God a chance to stay firm in Him. What if your testimony will help tell others what they are facing is not as much as they think it is to give up easily. And probably they are to go through it for the glorification of the Lord to manifest to others. Remember as a man thinkerth so he is.

The truth is that we receive more blessing and overcome every problem forever through our testimonies.

There are many ways we can testify to the Lord, and below are some of them,

• We can testify by declaring before God, all the very things he has done for us. The blessings He keeps pouring on us, His grace and mercies upon us each and the Favour given us everyday are all some of the things we can testify in his presence.

• We can testify to God through our offerings. Giving offering to God is a way of telling him, how much grateful we are for all he has done for us and keeps doing each day in our lives.

• We can testify by telling others what the Lord has done in every areas of our lives.

Now may the Good Lord, keep us safe throughout the week, and may He strengthen us to have the zeal to testify in every way we can.... Amen
