Honduras Sends Aid
Yes, we have joined the crusade to send relief aid to Venezuela. We sent two tons of hygiene products like soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes etc for approximately 1,500 people in two Honduras air force planes. I think this is a farce, what do Venezuelans need toothpaste for? They have been long enough with this regime, if things have been so bad that they have no access to these types of products I am sure that Venezuelan ingenuity by this time will have found something to replace these things with.
But you know the funny thing is we aren't exactly a rich country, and yet we are sending two air force planes which will use God knows how much fuel, I am sure the cost of this fuel will be so much more than the cost of the relief products why wasn't this aid sent on a vessel, I am sure any company would have been OK with donating the transportation of two or three pallets of relief products and they would have been offloaded in Santa Marta, farther from the border than Cucuta but anyway Maduro won't let this help in so it is an exercise in futility.
This just shows you to what length our government will go to remain as the US's lap dog and why the US will back the Honduras government regardless of whatever happens.
