😁Finally I have my new passport 😁

Hello steemians I hope you are very well, this week has left me several joys, on Wednesday I bought 3 envelopes of steem monsters and in one of them I got a gold card (it is my first gold card), apart from this I was one of the winners of a contest organized by coruscate, the prize was 5 envelopes of steem monsters, of these I will make a video when opening them to share with you and thank the organizer of the contest and last but not least yesterday I went to find my passport 🎆

Perhaps in most countries, getting a passport is a simple and fast process, but in Venezuela the reality is totally different, as the economic crisis began to accentuate the agency responsible for processing the passport to Venezuelans began to present delays in the delivery of the same, little by little this became exacerbated to such an extent that there were people waiting for the delivery of the passport for more than 2 years, the excuse given by the agency is that they could not print the passports due to lack of material, then they took out something called express passports, which is no more than an additional payment to print your passport fast, the system was working for a while (a fairly exclusive system in a socialist country, since you can only pay for the page with a credit card) ,since the end of 2017 the express payment system began to give problems, and again many people began to have months without getting a passport.

I was one of the affected, in the middle of last year my old passport expired and I started the process to obtain a new one, I decided to choose a location in a town near my city to do the process as normally in the villages there are fewer requests for these procedures, after paying to go to the appointment where they update the data and take the photo for the new passport began the bitter wait, after hundreds of attempts to enter the page and try to pay, I was giving up because the moments when the page was active for the payment was random and for a few minutes (you can imagine thousands of Venezuelans desperate entering the page to try to pay and get a passport),a friend told me that she knew how to do it (a little trick with Google Chrome) left the windows open with the data saved in each of the windows, then I proceeded to give my personal and credit card details, I actually made the payment and almost a month later I was available to withdraw.

Yesterday I took a bus to La Grita and after a little more than 3 hours of road I arrived to the town and went to the immigration headquarters, I went to a small office and I removed my passport, for a few minutes I think I had a smile on my face permanent since I had the passport in my possession, since I started the process for my new passport until yesterday I could withdraw it almost a year, you can imagine hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans who are still waiting to get a passport, to the economic conditions of Venezuela the passport step to make a precious asset since it is the only instrument that allows a "legal" migration, some people say that the obstacles in the process of passport applications are intentional to try to stop the migratory wave , but it's not working anymore,There are hundreds of people who cross daily through the famous trails in the Venezuelan borders, having no passport that is the only way they have to migrate and many are taking that risk, now it is already more than 1 month that the system is not has enabled 5 minutes for payment but it is not a surprise, those of us who live in Venezuela know that with this government what seems impossible to make worse they make it possible and make it worse.those of us who live in Venezuela know that with this government what seems impossible to make worse they make it possible and make it worse.those of us who live in Venezuela know that with this government what seems impossible to make worse they make it possible and make it worse.
