Letting go of resentment

Letting go of resentment can be difficult, but the truth is harbouring resentment will hurt you far more than the person who offended you. We need to learn to let go of resentment for the benefits of our relationship and health. We can't control other people's actions or what they say, but we can control how we react to what they do or say. Tips on how we can let go of resentment are;

We have to take responsibility for our resentment. It is much more easier to put to put the blame on others but we should keep in mind that resentment is a thing of choice. So is forgiveness. We should try as much as to make the right choice which is to forgive and let go.

We have to honestly examine ourselves too because sometimes we might be over reacting towards what might not be a big deal. When we honestly examine ourselves, we might consider being patient with others before reacting.

We need to also understand the true meaning of forgiveness, which is letting go. We should learn to forgive our offenders as nobody is perfect and making sure to letting go of it.
